VICTORIA GRACE'S FAMILY DAYCARE

As a childcare worker within the Family Day Care Program I believe that I offer an extension in each child's own family, a home environment able to promote children's individuality and welcomes them and their families as important group members of Peace of Mind Family Day Care and my home-base childcare service. 

I believe young children need childcare workers who respect and embrace the diversity of families and individuals, who promote partnership, are responsive and encourage interest, developmental needs, social and cultural context of each participant within the childcare service.

I believe young children and their families require and deserve an environment that protects and nurtures their rights to a great life, for children a great childhood. A place to grow where positive behaviour management is modelled, boundaries are respected, which fosters secure attachments, honest communication and trusting relationships.
